Well, my throat doesn't hurt anymore, but I still feel like I've been bodyslammed by 27 midgets. So, I'm sucking on African Nectar at Dunn Bros Coffee while trying to wrap my mind around Western Civilization. I know, that's a lofty goal, but somebody's got to do it.
I don't know if it is actually useful anyone who reads it, but I love the clarity it gives me to write it.
Today I feel thankful for perspective. Specifically the perspective this picture of earth provides. BTW, if you zoom way way in, you can even notice the moon off to the bottom right of our pale blue dot. Sagan's original speech describes a version of humanity still worth striving
